Design Options
The structures of our school canopies are manufactured in powder coated aluminium. This makes them lightweight and easy to install. It also means that they are corrosion-free for minimum maintenance, (i.e. no rusting and no repainting required). An annual wash down with soapy water will keep these outdoor canopies looking good for years to come.
You can choose from one of our nine standard colours for the aluminium frame, or we can supply school canopies in any existing RAL or BS colour that you already use.
We give you a choice of polycarbonate glazing materials for the roof that will allow you to optimize the best combination of light transmission, shade and UV protection for your needs.
Our non-fragile multi-link roof panel system will provide you with the comfort and security of knowing that you have installed a roof system that fully complies with the requirements of the Building Regulations and the Construction Design & Management regulations. The Twinfix non-fragile multi-link panel system achieves a Class B result to the HSE roofing fragility test ACR(M)001:2000, subsequently amended in 2005. These 'safe' panels are fitted on to all of our mono and duo pitched roofs. This means that should anyone gain access on to such a canopy roof, they will not hurt themselves by falling through the glazing.
We can provide cushioned, weather-resistant post protectors that are both easy to install and remove. These are available in a range of bright, cheerful colours - ideal for enhancing the playgrounds of younger children. In addition you might wish to have electrically operated roller shutters included in your school canopies, to enable you to safely lock away all your toys and effects when your school is closed. We can also provide verticaly glazed side-screens to help provide weather protection where required. While our standard gutters are PVC we can also supply aluminium rainwater goods, powder coated to match the canopy framework.
