Large Area Covers
When looking for products to glaze large areas, as shown in the pictures below, then Twinfix will usually have a product that will fit the bill.
When glazing onto such large structures, it is often necessary to specify a system capable of being cold-curved and fixed to the frame on site. Usually the Twinfix 226/227 is the system specified. The aluminium 227 base bar is cold curved and fixed to each of the beams, the multiwall polycarbonate sheet is then put in place and it follows the shape of the 227 base bar as it is clamped firmly and securely in place with the 226 capping bar.
The 226/227 bar is only one of many systems available from Twinfix for installing polycarbonate.
