Adaptaglaze Panel
Adaptaglaze panels consist of 10mm or 16mm multiwall polycarbonate glazing fitted into an aluminium frame.
Adaptaglaze panels enable you to replace individual panes or entire runs of failed, cracked glazing with multiwall polycarbonate, whilst retaining the existing glazing bars if they are in good condition. It is generally not possible to glaze multiwall polycarbonate in traditional glazing bars as there is insufficient edge engagement to hold the polycarbonate securely in place. The use of Adaptaglaze panels enables this to occur. You simply take off the capping bar, remove the glass, replace it with an Adaptaglaze panel and mechanically re-fix the capping bar.
By using Adaptaglaze panels, effective refurbishment of your roof glazing can become part of your ongoing maintenance programme, rather than a single, often prohibitive, capital cost.
The Twinfix Adaptaglaze panel is covered by the UK patent No. 2291456.
