Welcome to Twinfix

Welcome to our website. Twinfix was established as a family business in 1990 growing out of Thermoclear UK, the original importers into the UK of Lexan Thermoclear multiwall polycarbonate sheet, generally used for roof glazing applications. We also offered custom-designed glazing bars and complementary fixing accessories.

Over the years we have evolved and whilst still offering polycarbonate glazing, structural and rafter gasket glazing bar systems, we continue to innovate and now have many more items in our product basket, such as canopies and walkways.

Many of these feature our modular polycarbonate roof panel system, the Multi-Link-Panel NF. This features an innovative reinforcing technique that allows the glazed panels to pass the HSE test procedure for Non Fragile Roofing Assemblies (ACR[M]001:2014) as detailed in HSG33. This means that should anyone gain access on to a roof fitted with these panels and trip on the glazing, they should not fall through it. Light in weight and available in a range of colours and tints, the Multi-Link-Panel is also incredibly quick to fit.

Our offering now includes:

One of our latest innovations is Twinfix GW Polycarbonate™ (Georgian Wired-effect), a solid polycarbonate sheet that has the appearance of Georgian wired glass, but combines this with all the many benefits of polycarbonate glazing.

Another is an adaptation of our popular multi-link-panel system that now incorporates a thermal break - Multi-Link Thermal™ - that provides heightened thermal properties.

The sectors we work in include:

We pride ourselves on having a product to suit most buildings that require either an outside glazed area or glazed roof.

We are very proud of our business, where health and safety plays a key role, both within our manufacturing facility and our offices, as well as out on site. We have accreditations to some of the major building and construction bodies, such as CHAS, Constructionline, Link-Up and Builders Profile offering our products on both a supply-only basis as well as supply-and-fit.

For many of our products we have a full design service, offering site survey, in-house design and installation. We guide you through the process and are here to help at each stage.

With our wealth of experience in polycarbonate over the (many) years, combined with our drive for product development, health and safety, plus high quality products, we believe Twinfix can offer a roof glazing, canopy or covered area solution for most applications. Have a look round our site and get in touch either via our contact page or give us a ring on 01925 811311. We look forward to hearing from you.
