Family Operated

Twinfix is a proud family-operated business with more than 35 years of experience, care and dedication behind everything we do. Our values of trust, quality and long-term partnership have shaped the company from the beginning and continue to guide the reliable, innovative canopy and roof glazing solutions we deliver today.

Built on a Strong Foundation

Founded in 1990 by Graham Kench, the business grew from a small family enterprise into a nationally recognised specialist in canopies, walkways, shelters and roof glazing systems. Today, Twinfix supports a wide range of sectors including education, rail, healthcare, retail and more.

A Vision Guided by People and Progress

Graham’s approach was built around a simple principle: it is the people that make the business. His commitment to quality, innovation, and long-term relationships still influences Twinfix today. Under his leadership, the company expanded its product range, including the development of modular roof panels, and delivered high-profile projects such as the Millennium Dome.

Strong Leadership

The business is now led by joint Managing Directors Sarah Kench and Vicky Evans, supported by fellow directors Dan and Paul. Sarah, who joined in 2005, leads on quality, project planning and risk management. Vicky, who joined in 2010, oversees customer service, sales and marketing, with a particular focus on the rail sector. Together, the leadership team ensures every project delivers against the highest standards of design, performance and client satisfaction.

A Hands-On Approach, Backed by Experience

Being family-run enables Twinfix to take a personal, hands-on approach from initial consultation through to manufacture and installation. Every structure is tailored to the needs of each project, whether that’s a school canopy creating inspiring outdoor learning spaces, a rail platform canopy enhancing passenger safety, or a retail or healthcare shelter designed for both functionality and aesthetics. Innovation and tradition go hand in hand, and by combining sustainable materials, modern design, and decades of expertise, Twinfix delivers long-lasting solutions with the care only a family business can provide.

Sustainable and Long-Lasting

Sustainability is increasingly important in airport design and refurbishment. Both aluminium and polycarbonate are fully recyclable and chosen for their durability and longevity. Their lightweight construction helps reduce structural loading and embodied carbon, while their low maintenance requirements provide long-term cost efficiency.

The use of translucent polycarbonate supports energy-efficient design by maximising natural daylight, reducing reliance on artificial lighting in covered external areas.
