At Twinfix, we design and install entrance canopies that combine functionality with architectural quality. Acting as both a practical shelter and a welcoming feature, an entrance canopy enhances the first impression of any building while providing protection from the elements for those arriving or leaving. With over 35 years of experience, we have delivered bespoke canopy solutions for schools, hospitals, transport hubs, commercial developments and public sector facilities across the UK.
The entrance is often the first point of contact between a building and its users. A well-designed canopy makes this experience safer, more comfortable and more visually appealing. It provides cover from rain, snow and sun, ensuring staff, visitors and service users can enter and exit without discomfort. At the same time, a canopy highlights the entrance, guiding people intuitively to the correct point of access and enhancing the overall identity of the building.
Every project is different, which is why we tailor each entrance canopy to suit its location, architectural style and branding requirements. Our canopies are fabricated from aluminium as standard – lightweight, strong and corrosion-resistant – with steel available for wider spans and timber-effect finishes offered where a softer aesthetic is desired.
A wide choice of powder-coated RAL colours ensures the structure complements the façade, while glazing options range from clear, opal and bronze polycarbonate through to Georgian wired polycarbonate for heritage-sensitive sites. Solid aluminium panels can also be specified where shading or security are priorities.

Colours & Coatings
Clear polycarbonate provides maximum natural light, creating bright and open canopy spaces.
Opal polycarbonate diffuses natural light, reducing glare while maintaining a bright and comfortable covered space.
Obscure polycarbonate provides diffused light while maintaining privacy, making it ideal for areas where discretion is required.
Twinfix structures are finished with high-quality polyester powder coating, available in the full RAL range to complement any architectural scheme.
Timber-effect finishes provide the appearance of natural wood while retaining the durability and low maintenance of aluminium.
Alu-Link-Panel provides a robust and visually refined roofing solution for canopy structures, combining strength, durability and clean architectural lines. Manufactured from solid aluminium, the panels offer excellent resistance to weathering, corrosion and impact, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance. The system creates a solid roof that delivers reliable shelter from rain and harsh sunlight while reducing glare beneath the canopy, making it particularly well suited to entrances, walkways and outdoor waiting areas. Its lightweight yet rigid construction allows for efficient installation, while the high-quality aluminium finish contributes to a modern aesthetic that integrates well with a wide range of building designs.
