At Twinfix, we design and manufacture industrial canopies that provide robust, long-lasting cover for busy working environments. From factories and warehouses to distribution centres and utilities sites, our canopies support safe, efficient operations by protecting people, vehicles and goods from the elements. With over 35 years of experience, Twinfix has delivered durable canopy solutions across the UK for a wide range of industrial applications.
Industrial environments demand reliability. Our canopies create sheltered areas that allow work to continue in all weather conditions — whether covering loading bays, protecting outdoor storage, or providing dry routes between buildings. By reducing exposure to rain, wind and UV, they help to safeguard both staff and materials, minimising downtime and damage while improving operational flow.
For high-traffic areas such as goods-in or dispatch zones, a canopy ensures vehicles can be loaded and unloaded safely, reducing the risk of slips, trips or product damage. In outdoor workspaces, canopies also improve employee wellbeing by providing shelter and shade in environments where staff spend significant time outside.
Our industrial canopies are manufactured from aluminium, a material chosen for its strength, corrosion resistance and sustainability. Lightweight yet robust, aluminium ensures long service life with minimal maintenance requirements. Frames can be powder-coated in any standard RAL colour to align with site identity or corporate branding, while a timber-effect finish is available for projects where a softer aesthetic is preferred.
Roofing and panel options are tailored to suit the requirements of each project. Polycarbonate provides excellent durability and natural light transmission, while solid aluminium panels offer shade, privacy and additional security.

Colours & Coatings
Clear polycarbonate provides maximum natural light, creating bright and open canopy spaces.
Opal polycarbonate diffuses natural light, reducing glare while maintaining a bright and comfortable covered space.
Twinfix offers a solid polycarbonate alternative that replicates the traditional Georgian wired appearance while delivering far greater durability, impact resistance and reduced weight.
Obscure polycarbonate provides diffused light while maintaining privacy, making it ideal for areas where discretion is required.
Twinfix structures are finished with high-quality polyester powder coating, available in the full RAL range to complement any architectural scheme.
Timber-effect finishes provide the appearance of natural wood while retaining the durability and low maintenance of aluminium.
Industrial sites operate under strict safety standards, and our canopies are designed to provide complete assurance. Structural components are UKCA marked in line with BS EN 1090-1, confirming compliance and integrity. Where polycarbonate roofing is specified, our Multi-Link-Panel Non-Fragile system, tested to ACR[M]001:2019, delivers proven performance for safe installation and long-term maintenance.
These standards ensure every canopy is fit for purpose in demanding, high-traffic environments where reliability and compliance cannot be compromised.
Every industrial site has its own operational pressures, and our canopies are configured to address them. Whether providing wide-span cover for multiple loading bays, linking production buildings, or creating covered walkways for staff, we design each structure around the specific requirements of the client. Optional features such as side panels, roller shutters and integrated lighting can also be incorporated to extend usability and improve site security.
