The first few months of 2026 have been a busy and exciting period for Twinfix, with industry recognition, repeat business from valued clients, major project milestones and the launch of our new website all contributing to a strong start to the year.
Earlier this year, Twinfix launched its new website, designed to provide a more streamlined experience for architects, contractors, specifiers and clients.
The updated site includes expanded product technology pages, sector-focused content, project inspiration and a dedicated downloads area where visitors can access technical information, brochures, standard details and NBS resources.
The new platform reflects the continued development of the Twinfix brand and makes it easier for customers to explore the company’s canopy and roof glazing systems in more detail.
In March, members of the Twinfix team attended the Spotlight Rail Awards 2026 in London, where Twinfix received the Highly Commended award in the Product of the Year category for its work at Lancaster railway station.
The award recognised the use of Twinfix’s Multi-Link-Panel Non-Fragile (NF) roof glazing system as part of the station’s heritage canopy refurbishment project, which combined modern non-fragile performance with the careful restoration of a historic rail structure.
Twinfix was also proud to see both the Lancaster Station and Filey railway station projects shortlisted at this year’s awards, reflecting continued involvement in significant rail refurbishment schemes across the UK.
Twinfix has continued its long-standing relationship with Burger King with the completion of another Brise Soleil and canopy installation in Cardiff.
The latest project marks the seventh completed by Twinfix for the brand and delivers a combination of practical weather protection and contemporary architectural detailing. The installation helps improve the external environment while complementing the building’s overall appearance.
Twinfix has also completed its third outdoor canopy installation for Castle Bingo.
The new structure enhances the venue’s external smoking and outdoor gaming area, creating a more comfortable covered space for customers throughout the year. The project continues Twinfix’s ongoing work with repeat clients seeking durable, low-maintenance canopy solutions tailored to customer environments.
Alongside project activity and industry events, the Twinfix team also enjoyed a recent team day out together.
As a family-run business, maintaining strong working relationships across the company remains an important part of the Twinfix culture, and the day provided an opportunity for colleagues from across the business to spend time together away from live projects and installations.
With projects continuing across the rail, education, retail and leisure sectors, 2026 is already shaping up to be another productive year for Twinfix.
The year so far has reflected the strength of long-term client relationships, continued investment in product development and recognition for projects that combine performance, safety and design quality.
