As part of a site upgrade led by Wernick, Martin Baker Aircraft sought to improve its cafeteria facilities with a modern, functional outdoor space. The requirement was for a sheltered dining area that would encourage year-round use while complementing the sleek, contemporary design of the new canteen.
Twinfix was appointed to design, manufacture and install a bespoke free-standing mono-pitch canopy, spanning 61 square metres, to provide a practical yet stylish solution for staff and visitors.
Twinfix delivered a canopy that blends durability with aesthetic appeal. Constructed with a robust aluminium frame finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the structure complements the new canteen’s design while offering long-lasting performance in a busy workplace environment.
At the heart of the canopy is Twinfix’s Multi-Link-Panel Non-Fragile (NF) roofing system, glazed with polycarbonate. This innovative system provides strength, weather resistance and low maintenance requirements, while remaining lightweight and easy to install.
