Project Overview

Twinfix was appointed to design, manufacture and install a bespoke entrance canopy for Dorothy Pattison Hospital in Walsall. The project demonstrates Twinfix’s expertise in providing tailored solutions for the healthcare sector, where functionality, safety and aesthetics must work seamlessly together.

Working in close collaboration with the hospital team, Twinfix developed a lean-to reverse canopy featuring the Alu-Link-Panel solid aluminium roofing system. This innovative roofing solution was selected for its modern appearance, durability and lightweight construction, ensuring minimal load on the building while providing long-term protection from the elements.

The canopy was powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey to complement the hospital’s architecture, while a soffit extension ensured smooth integration between the canopy and the main building façade.
