Project Overview

Willow Grove Primary School in Wixam was developed to provide a modern, welcoming environment for pupils and staff. As part of the new build, the school required outdoor structures that would both enhance the arrival experience and extend classroom space into the outdoors.

Twinfix was appointed to design, manufacture and install two bespoke canopies, each tailored to support the school’s commitment to outdoor learning, play and community engagement.

Twinfix’s Role in Supporting Willow Grove Primary’s Vision

Both canopies were supported by timber posts with integrated post protectors for pupil safety, while the aluminium frames were powder coated in RAL 7016 (anthracite grey) for durability and a modern finish. Each canopy was fitted with Twinfix’s Multi-Link-Panel Non-Fragile (NF) roofing system, incorporating 16mm opal multiwall polycarbonate panels to ensure glare reduction, UV protection and comfortable light diffusion.
